Who knew that these UCLA students were destined to meet in the Central Office one summer? Grant was working in IT when Christine was hired as a new secretary. Christine was in the midst of orientation when Grant came to set up her computer. Christine thought nothing of this adorable boy as he was her coworker and she did not believe in office relationships! Grant worked his way quickly into her heart by helping her in the office, coming to her programs and asking her to eat meals together. Christine knew that Grant was special when he went out of his way to help her laminate a giant poster using the biggest laminator in the office. He was sweet, charming and cheerful in a way that made her look at him and rethink her policy on office relationships. One summer day, Grant asked Christine on a date and took her on his motorcycle to Sawtelle where they browsed the local shops while drinking their favorite boba drinks. Grant knew that he wanted to settle down and marry Christine when they laughed while trying on different hats in a small boutique store. Christine placed different hats on his head and thought he looked handsome in every hat he tried. It was a good time and all smiles. Now, after finishing grad school, enduring long distance, moving together to Portland, buying a house together and adopting two dogs, this couple is DONE waiting to get married after Covid postponed their wedding plans in 2020! Grant and Christine wish that you could be here in person to celebrate their union. They hope one day that their families and friends can meet in a beautiful reception and celebrate their marriage all together. For now, a virtual ceremony will do!
