Nick and Mikayla planned a week long trip in the Adirondack's to go snow shoeing and unwind. It was no surprise that Nick wanted to go on a multi-mile hike to Rainbow Falls and that Mikayla was ready to go at a moment's notice. Once they found the trail leading to the falls, they were both in awe! It was suddenly exceptionally quiet and much chillier going down this trail. They decided to set up the tripod to take some photos of the waterfall ... or so Mikayla thought. In Nick's excitement, he actually broke one leg off of the tripod, luckily the newly designated bi-pod was able to be held up in the several feet of snow without issue. They couldn't figure out how to set Mikayla's camera to timer, so they opted to take a video of them trekking to a rock in front of the waterfall. There are several moments of them clumsily standing still, posing for a photo, knowing it was a video. Then Mikayla turned around to take in the view once more, then upon turning around Nick was on one knee, ready to ask Mikayla to be his wife. When he opened the box, it was actually upside down - but luckily the ring did not fall out of the box. Mikayla said yes in a heartbeat, and they had several moments of pure bliss at the base of the frozen waterfall.
