Once upon a time there was a wild Jasmine and a calm Graham. They once crossed paths on a dating app. "OMG, I think I know your sister!" said the wild Jasmine. "Oh no.... I don't date my sister’s friends" said the calm Graham. The wild Jasmine and calm Graham went their ways. They crossed paths again at the sisters wedding. There she was, the wild Jasmine, burning a hole on the dance floor!! There he was, the calm Graham enjoying the extravaganza from the sidelines. Again, the wild Jasmine and calm Graham went their ways. One day, the wild Jasmine needed a handyman. She knew exactly who to call. "Hey Graham! I heard you're great with a drill. Could you come over and hang my curtains in my new apartment?" "Sure!" said the calm Graham. Then there he was, with all his calmness, hanging the curtains during a wild time for Jasmine. After the handy work was done, the wild Jasmine and the calm Graham went to lunch in downtown Roanoke at Baja Cantina. But this time they did not go about their own ways. The two came together the way the wild grass and calm waves pair together beautifully at the beach. Speaking of the beach - Graham proposed August 2023 at his favorite place of family pastime, Galveston Beach, Texas. We were on our way to "find the good shells" on this very specific part of the beach before a nice dinner. We were walking about the beach and suddenly, "wow!! look at this shell! oh wow!! another one!!" said the wild Jasmine. Then she picked up a huge shell that said, “Jammin, will you marry me?” The wild Jasmine was stunned!!! She looked into the calm Graham’s eyes, and said “YES!!!” Now here we are planning a wedding and a celebration with all of our favorite people who got us to this joyous moment in our lives!!
