FAQ

If you have questions other than what we've listed here, please reach out to Graeme or Emma. If your questions arise the week of the wedding, please reach out to our wedding planner, Jesse, at 914-772-7157
Question

What COVID-19 precautions are you taking? Do we need to be vaccinated to attend?

Answer

Our wedding will comply with all federal, state, and public health mandates. If you are not vaccinated we know you will be there in spirit, but it will not be possible for you to attend the reception. Guests must bring a photo of their vaccination card and a photo ID, and present both to museum security at the reception. Guests must also fill out this tracking form within 72 hours of the wedding. This form is linked on the Travel page.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered here on Zola, and also at Williams-Sonoma and Cassandra's Kitchen (Ina's favorite!). You can purchase everything through the 'registry' tab.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The reception is black-tie. If you would rather change between the afternoon church ceremony and the evening reception, please come to the church in your Sunday best. We ask that if you are a member of the Gulley, Harcourt, or Seymour family that you arrive to church in black tie, so that we can take formal family portraits immediately after the ceremony.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation was addressed to you and a partner or guest, please feel free to RSVP accordingly. Otherwise, we feel confident that you will enjoy the evening surrounded by our friends and family. Please also know that due to COVID-19 restrictions we were unable to offer a plus one to as many people as we would under normal circumstances.

Question

What should we do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Answer coming soon!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our caterer has planned for vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and dairy-free meals. If you have other allergies or sensitivities please reach out to Emma or Graeme!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there are many parking garages located near Saint Ignatius and MCNY.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Nope! You will get to have the full New York experience. We recommend downloading Uber and being familiar with the app. Ubers and yellow cabs will definitely be the easiest way to get around that day. That weekend it is also the UN General Assembly which creates terrible traffic patterns. Please give yourself plenty of time to get around. We don’t want you to miss a minute of the fun!

Question

Can I sit at Arlo's table?

Answer

There's a long waiting list. Try bribing the bride and groom. Joking! Tragically, Arlo and Nellie will be there only in spirit.

For all the days along the way
