We request all RSVPs to be confirmed by Wednesday, June 26th. We will most likely be reaching out to all guests to remind them to RSVP before the final date. The RSVP option will be CLOSED starting Thursday, June 27th. We're excited to celebrate with everyone coming, and we'll miss everyone who won't be able to join us.
The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal. We'd love to celebrate with everyone in a traditional fashion and ask you to wear your "Sunday best." We gladly welcome suits and gowns, but you can also wear your best cowboy boots, hats, and cocktail dresses. The bridesmaids will be wearing red. We understand it will be the peak of summer, but please refrain from wearing casual wear, such as shorts and T-shirts.
We highly recommend planning for St. Helena's Friday rush-hour traffic and giving yourself enough time to find a parking spot. Behind the church, continuing on Spring St., there is a parking lot designated for the wedding. Because of the limited available spots, we ask that you consider carpooling and appoint designated drivers for safe travel. As this is a residential area, there is plenty of street parking around the church without time limits. Please respect the neighboring residents and do not block any driveways or park on private property. Thank you!
You're welcome to bring gifts to the wedding reception, however we prefer you use our wedding registry so gifts are mailed directly to us. Our wedding registry is compiled of essentials for our new home. We also have included a "Honeymoon Fund" at the top of our registry for those who prefer to give a cash amount. Whatever you decide to do, we appreciate your generosity!
We've organized our guest list to include every person we would love to celebrate our wedding with, spouses and families included. When you RSVP on the website, you will be given the opportunity to RSVP for either a spouse or your entire family. If you can only RSVP for yourself and you believe this is a mistake, please contact the bride and groom directly via phone or email at: thecottmanwedding@gmail.com
If you're a Napa native, you know how hot the summers can be, especially in July. For our non-Napa-native guests, St. Helena is in the heart of the Napa Valley and is usually a few degrees hotter than its surrounding cities. Please be prepared for dry heat and high temperatures. Based on years past, the temperature could go into the high 90s with a hopeful low in the 80s. Fortunately, we'll be indoors with AC for the ceremony and reception.
A buffet-style dinner will be served at about 5:30 PM. We will only be serving wine, aguas frescas, and water.
If you do not have either of our phone numbers, please email us at thecottmanwedding@gmail.com for all inquiries. We check this email daily and will respond as soon as possible.
