Robert and I first met at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. I played soccer, and he played football. Throughout college, we ran in the same circles and always enjoyed being around each other. Over time, we became closer friends, but that's truly what it was—friends. Obviously, the Lord had bigger plans for us! Years of friendship later, on October 7, 2022, Robert asked me on our first official date. From that moment on, I felt like he was my biggest answered prayer and he felt the same way. Over the last two years, we have cherished every moment of becoming each other's person. It's the best feeling in the world to meet someone who meets you where you are, challenges you to be the best version of yourself, and enjoys all of life's adventures with you! You pray about your future husband when you are a little girl, and I couldn't have dreamed of a better man to be by my side through all of life's highs and lows. We can't wait to start our life together as a married couple, and if you are still reading this, we are incredibly thankful for how you have impacted our lives and helped shape us into the couple we are today!
