We met the first day of school in 2017. We were a year apart, but got assigned to the same back-to-school "cohort,” which was the school’s effort to socialize the students. I thought he was so cute, to the point that I ran into a trash can staring at him. We started dating about a year later when mutual friends connected us. We said "I love you" three days in and the rest was history.

On our five year anniversary, we took a trip home to where it all started. It was a day spent reminiscing about some of our favorite dating moments. We went to the zoo where we had one of our first dates and at the end of the day he took me to the library that we walked by almost everyday in high school. He said that the only thing I loved more than him was books, but I know that our story is my favorite. He pulled out a small book from a locked case and it in was my ring! I promised to help him finish writing our story, starting with our engagement! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in April!
