We are so glad you are joining us for an adventure in Alaska. In case you didn't know, the season gets busy here in Ketchikan. We strongly recommend booking places to stay, flights, and any car rentals or expeditions as soon as possible. Fishermen do extended stays in Ketchikan during the summer for the salmon season, the likelihood of finding a hotel on short notice or last minute, or upon arrival is highly unlikely. For your convenience, I have blocked off rooms at Cape Fox Lodge. Every hotel and car rental has the dates 7/28 through 7/31st. Make sure to change the dates to coincide with your flight. When arriving at the airport, you will need to take a ferry across the channel to the town side. The Ferry is $6 per person. If you get your car rental from Budget Car Rental, the fee will be waived for both yourself and your car. We are grateful for your presence and we so look forward to seeing you in the summer on this most exquisite island.

This place has a fantastic view including a restaurant and a short walk to downtown. It is located on top of a hill and in order to get downtown there are a lot of stairs or a taxi will be needed. To reserve, call Cape Fox Lodge and tell them you are with the Leighton/Louise Wedding Party.

The Landing is a great choice but is about a twenty-minute walk to the downtown area. If walking is not in the cards and you aren't getting a car rental, Cape Fox Lodge is a much better option.

This car rental is located on the island. In order to get here, you will want to reserve a free shuttle from the airport website or call a taxi to get to the car rental. You will cross the channel on the airport ferry (pay the $6.00), and take the airport shuttle or taxi to the car rental.
