Marlon and Grace met the old fashioned way...on a dating app called Hinge. Date 1 was pretty spectacular, and not even a soon thereafter attempt at reality dating show fame (you can guess by whom), could get in the way of their budding romance.

Marlon proposed at Grace and Marlon's NYC happy place -- the rooftop of their apartment building on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. With Central Park behind Grace, the Hudson River behind Marlon and skyscrapers surrounding them both, he couldn't have chosen a more perfect place to propose! After a celebratory champagne toast (read: bottle), and a few quick FaceTimes to family and friends, they headed to Marlon's old neighborhood in Harlem. Marlon's friend and owner of the legendary Cecil Steakhouse and Minton's Jazz Bar treated them to an incredible evening, topped off with a special song performed in the couple's honor. Marlon and Grace are SO EXCITED to celebrate this next chapter of their love story with all of their cherished friends and family in the nation's capital in October!!!!!
