FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: short or long dresses, dressy jumpsuits, jackets and slacks Both the ceremony and the reception will be indoors. Temperatures March in Culpeper generally range from 40-60°F.

Question

Is there parking onsite?

Answer

Yes! Guests may park in the "3 Hour Lot" across the street from the venue. This lot is not policed on the weekends and is open to the public. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE IS PERMITTED TO PARK IN THE LOT ADJACENT TO THE VENUE, AS THIS IS NOT OWNED BY THE VENUE AND IS PRIVATE PROPERTY; ALL UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES WILL BE TOWED AT THE OWNER'S EXPENSE.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the size of the venue, we respectfully ask that only those named on the invitation attend.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love all of the children in our lives, with the exception of our wedding party, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event.

Question

Is The Refinery wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes! The ground level is fully ADA compliant, and there is a commercial grade hospital stair climber to allow handicapped guests to access the second level.

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We will be serving brunch food during cocktail hour and Mission BBQ for lunch at the reception. If you have any dietary restrictions or concerns, please let us know and we will make sure we have something available for you to eat!

Question

Will you be serving alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We will be serving mimosas, wine, beer, and hard seltzers.
