Wedding Party

Allison Haste

Maid of Honor

Alli and I have been best friends since high school. She also went to Ball State for college. High school was a rough time for me, and she really helped me through the hard days. We’ve laughed, cried, partied, reminisced, and traveled together. We also saw Ariana Grande together which was pretty neat. I’m hoping to grow really old with Alli and do wild things in retirement communities with my best friend.

Jackie Sutton

Bridesmaid

Jackie and I are sorority sisters of Sigma Kappa. She has taken professional head shots of me when I got my heart broken to make me feel better, is really creative and clever, and loves to plan get togethers. She has always been excited to get married and plan a wedding. I had next to no idea what I wanted which has helped me with endless ideas for this journey.

Karlee Bodine

Bridesmaid

I met Karlee through Ball State’s speech pathology program. We made it through 6 years of difficult courses, writing research proposals for hours (that we failed), ordering pizza and going to the winery to study, and commiserating about the latest graduate school headache. She was always willing to listen, laugh, and complain. I’ve now seen her get married and have her first child, Winston. I love getting together to chat about life and complain about the woes of our professional lives.

Paige Story

Bridesmaid

Paige and I are also sorority sisters. We met through Jackie, I believe. I needed someone to live with during graduate school, and her parents had a house on Rex Street. She was studying urban planning and stayed up late to make the grades. There were many nights in that house that we sat on each other’s beds and talked about family, friends, school, and boys. These days we like to get dinner and chat monthly to keep up with one another. I would not have made it through graduate school without Paige’s open door every night.

Jordan May

Best Man

Jordan and Austin go back to 4th grade, circa 2005. Over the years their friendship grew, with faith, gaming, and humor being the core of it all. Jordan asked Austin to be his best man at his wedding and Austin is known as uncle to Jordan and Clarissa’s daughters, Ellie and Sadie. Today the two still game, dream, and support each others families the best they can. Austin is forever thankful for the authenticity and steadfast friendship Jordan has provided for nearly 2 decades.

Aidan Bell

Groomsman

Austin and Aidan first met through mutual friendships in Batesville, with their friendship hitting off as Aidan went to college and grew into an amazing ministry leader in New Castle. Austin would see Aidan here regularly and also at get togethers in Batesville. Over the years through Aidan’s family and the shared love of Jesus and serving others, this friendship was solidified. Austin was honored to be best man in Aidan’s wedding and is thankful to have Aidan with him now, on this adventure and many others in the future.

Andrew Gutzwiller

Groomsman

Austin first met Andy through ministry, leading him through part of high school and into college. Andy has been a steadfast friend, always bringing joy and wisdom to life. While Austin has always been a leader to Andy, over the years this became a true friendship. Through serving their peers, loving Lord of the Rings or Star Wars, and just sharing life together, Austin is thankful to have been with Andy through many ups and downs.

Samuel Bowman

Groomsman

Sam also met Austin when he was in high school and Austin was his youth leader. Sam and Austin quickly hit it off, with Austin helping Sam and his friends run skits for their peers, playing video games, and enjoying Star Wars. As Sam went off to college, Austin stayed in touch and the two continued to be steadfast friends. Austin is thankful for Sam's faith, loyalty, and humor to those around him.
