We met during my senior year of college at Bucknell University, in Sam's hometown of Lewisburg, PA. After graduation I went off to New Jersey Medical School and Sam went to Florida where he learned how to make *the best* pizza. There were many FaceTime dates and flights between Florida and New Jersey as we began a long distance relationship. I matched into Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at my home program, New Jersey Medical School and so Sam migrated back north and learned about good bagels and Taylor Ham as he became a New Jerseyan. Finally living in the same state, we checked off a bucket list item and adopted a sweet and crazy puppy (who is actually quite an old man), Teemo - who gives us as many snuggles as he does gray hairs. In July on a family vacation in Italy, Sam got down on one knee and proposed at the water's edge in the costal town of Riomaggiore. It was absolutely magical. We're so excited for our next adventure - marriage!
