Although we went to the same high school and had many friends in common, we didn't really meet until Rachael returned home after graduating from college. We met on a river trip with mutual friends. We spent the day with Rachael's tube tied to Willie's kayak, and have been together ever since.

We quickly built a life together: adopting a dog, buying a house, moving to New Jersey, adopting a cat, renovating the house, and taking many trips away together. We've enjoyed the past twelve years and are excited to see what married life brings!
