What are options for accommodations nearby?
Answer
There are several Airbnb options within walking distance of the Ranch. Check out the "Travel" tab on this site to see the list along with local hotel options. We recommend making a weekend of your stay. We will be on the Ranch from Thursday afternoon until Sunday morning, so join us for any part of the weekend celebration.

When do all the festivities begin?
Answer
As you can see from the "Schedule" tab we are requesting you arrive on the Ranch around 3:30. We have a wonderful singer kicking off the celebration with the ceremony beginning promptly at 4:00.

What should I wear to this wedding on a ranch in the high desert?
Answer
We are calling it Desert Ranch Chic - Comfortable and Fun. Style meets Ranchwear. Shoes or boots to dance in. All of that is to say wear something comfortable and festive, perfect for a celebration on a ranch located in the high desert. If in doubt, opt for dresses that flow and separates in "bold prints and rich colors found in Joshua trees: greens, shades of orange, rich blues, deep reds and purples". Think Boho meets Coachella. Due to the terrain avoid open toe shoes. And leave the stilettos at home!

Where are you registered?
Answer
Honestly, we are in our mid-50s and have everything we need. Your presence for our celebration is the gift we would cherish the most! A few of you have asked for a way to contribute to our Honeymoon Adventure and our future Golden Retriever, so check out the Registry tab if you are so moved.

What does a vegan + gluten free menu consist of?
Answer
Oh, ye of little faith...We have found an amazing caterer who specializes in organic farm to table California ingredients foraged at the peak of the season, fresh herbs, and delicious appetizers created by the best chefs. You are in for rustic & elegant plant-based food served in unique and beautiful ways.

What else can I expect from your celebration?
Answer
As we have both been sober for 25+ years we are choosing to have an alcohol-free event. We have a fantastic team, with their 1952 vintage mobile bar trailer, coming from LA to serve unique mocktails and great non-alcoholic drinks. Additionally, there is very spotty cell access on the Ranch, so we all get to unplug together and celebrate.

There is plenty of parking on the Ranch and there will be parking attendants to guide you.

What is the weather going to be like?
Answer
You can expect it be in the 70s during the day and will most likely drop to high 50s at night. Great opportunity to bring that smart pashmina and show it off.
