Schedule

The Wedding Website of Emma Goos and Adam Konber
We will be having our ceremony at the Little Ivy Chapel on the grounds of historic Fairmount Cemetery. This historical landmark chapel was built in 1890 and is a unique example of French Gothic revival architecture. We have chosen this location partly for its beauty, but mostly because Emma's grandparents and great-grandparents are buried at the cemetery. She is thankful to Adam for understanding how important it is to have her family present, even if only in spirit. We ask that guests refrain from any drinking or smoking on the grounds of the cemetery, and to please keep to a respectful noise and rowdiness level. This will be a small ceremony of close friends and family and we plan on keeping things short and sweet-- so there will be plenty of time for shenanigans later on in the evening. Following our ceremony, we'll have a cozy backyard reception at our home a few minutes north of the chapel. There will be drinks and light bites, followed by a buffet-style family meal.

Ceremony

3:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Little Ivy Chapel
430 S Quebec St, Denver, CO 80247

This will be black tie optional--please come as you are comfortable but feel free to get snazzy!

As mentioned previously, the chapel is on the grounds of a cemetery. Please keep this in mind for the duration of our ceremony.

Cocktails & Bites

3:45 pm - 5:00 pm

This portion of the evening will be in our backyard-- we will be walking on grass so rethink those stilettos!

We will be providing a Meditteranean grazing table including pita, veggies, cheeses, hummus, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, tzatziki, and ful medames (like Egyptian hummus!). Drinks will include a selection of local craft beers, sauvignon blanc, rose, as well as carbernet. The bride and groom will also each have a signature cocktail. Non-alcoholic options will include a variety of Coke products, juice boxes, and cucumber-mint infused water.

Dinner

5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Dinner will be provided by an incredible local restaurant, Baghdad Restaurant. The menu will include chicken shishkabobs, kofta kabob, and gyro. We will also have falafel available as a vegetarian option, as well as two kinds of rice.

First Dance

6:45 pm

Is it too late to sign up for a dancing class?

Cuttin' a Rug

7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

You WILL be expected to dance (even if it's just for Cupid Shuffle).

Cuttin' a Cake

8:00 pm

Our cake will be lemon blueberry butter cake with buttercream frosting. We will also have mini cheesecakes with graham-cracker crust available. If you are gluten free please let us know via RSVP and we will make sure to provide some gluten-free treats as well!

More Cuttin' a Rug

8:30 pm - 9:30 pm

If you thought an hour of dancing was enough you're wrong.

Send-off!

9:00 pm

Now I know this is how weddings are supposed to end, but we're having the celebration at our home! I guess we'll just hide around the block until everyone else leaves? Ok, ok how about this: if you make it this far into the night, WE'll send YOU off! :)

For all the days along the way
