All U.S. citizens, including minors, need a valid passport. Please check the expiration date of your passport -- it must expire after your last day of traveling in Mexico. Visas are NOT required for U.S. citizens. For Non-U.S. / Non-Mexico citizens -- we recommend you check visa requirements with your local government agencies.
We will continuously monitor the local COVID-19 rules. As of now there are NO testing requirements to enter Mexico. In addition, there are NO testing requirements to return to the United States. Please check back here as we get closer to the date for any updates.
When packing for the weekend, please note that temperatures in San Miguel are typically warm during the day, but drop quickly and can be cool at night. We recommend packing layers for evening events. Additionally, comfortable shoes are your friend for walking around the cobblestone streets of San Miguel! For the wedding events here is the suggested attire: Friday - Cocktail Attire (ties not required for men) Saturday - Festive Attire (colors encouraged) Sunday - Black tie (encouraged)
San Miguel is definitely a walking town; however, we recommend the following taxi services if you are looking to save your legs for dancing Sunday night Taxis San Miguelito: +52 415 152 0124 Taxi Grupo Minero: +52 415 152 7497
All of our events are outdoors. We recommend ladies to bring a light layer (shawl / cardigan) at night in case it gets chilly. Don't worry we will have heaters at all our events!
This is mostly for the ladies. All of our venues are on flat concrete surfaces except the wedding ceremony which will be on flat grass (the wedding reception is on flat concrete). Keep in mind that if you're walking to / from Friday and Saturday night events, which we suggest, we recommend wearing a sturdier block heel sandal or bring a pair of shoes to change into as the streets of San Miguel are hilly and cobblestone.
We will provide shuttles on the day of the wedding. For guests who would like to take the group shuttle, please meet at El Cardo at 4:00pm. For exact location enter “Estacionamiento el Cardo” into google maps. There will be shuttles leaving from the wedding venue back to central San Miguel leaving throughout the night.
Shuttles will be running between Rancho Las Sabinas and Central San Miguel the night of the wedding.
