Kaylee has been Sam’s best friend since Kindergarten. Kaylee and Sam went to ICS grade school together - and have stayed friends ever since! Kaylee currently lives in Dallas, TX with her fiancé, Collin. Sam and Kaylee have always traveled to be at each other’s big life events even though they haven’t lived in the same state since 2011. Now, 25 years later, Kaylee and Sam are planning their weddings together and are standing next to each other at their weddings!
Justin Owen

Justin is not only Heath's younger brother, but his best friend. He has been there for every big moment in Heath's life from giving an honorary speech at Heath's Eagle Scout ceremony to shaking his hand after Heath's Law School graduation and everything in between. Justin now lives in Greer, South Carolina with his girlfriend Elliott Beaver but is never too far away when Heath needs an extra truck or an extra hand when working on the house. Heath is proud to have Justin as his best man and has the best little brother he could ask for.

Sam has known Ashlee since she was in Kindergarten and Ashlee was in 1st grade. Sam has always looked at Ashlee like a big sister. While growing up, Sam & Ashlee were many times confused as sisters! Ashlee has always been there for the biggest moments of Sam’s life! Ashlee just got married in August 2021 and is showing Sam & Kaylee the ropes of wedding planning!
Michael Scott Kent

Heath and Michael became instant best friends Heath's first year of Boy Scouts in Troop 202. They have been best friends and considered each other brothers ever since. Michael has been there for Heath through everything since his early high school years, somehow being a best friend and mentor throughout it all. They backpacked 85 miles together at Philmont in New Mexico sailed around the Florida Keys together at SeaBase. Heath and his brother even took a road trip to visit Michael and go skiing in Colorado, thank goodness he's back in the Southeast and Heath is honored to have him as a groomsman.

Sam and Allison have been best friends since they were in high school! From Jonas Brothers Concerts to standing by each other in each other’s weddings, Sam & Allison have been there for all of life’s big events! Sam and Allie keep in touch with frequently even though they live states apart!

Will and Heath first met in elementary school in Columbia and lost touch for years until they got re-acquainted Will's first year at PC. Little did they know that Will would become Heath's little brother in their fraternity and one of his closest friends. They've had many adventures over the years including meeting "Tickle" from the show "Moonshiners" once while in Gatlinburg. Will now lives in Denver but they get together any time he comes back to Columbia.

Sam met Elliott in 2019 since Elliott is Heath’s younger brother and best man, Justin, girlfriend. The two couples have spent many fun weekends together and Elliott and Justin actually flew up to Chicago to be there when Heath proposed and helped make it the best surprise!
Robert Duncan Willm

Rob Willm has been one of Heath's closest friends since they had to pay a fine for 'illegally' switching dorm rooms to be roommates their freshman year at PC. The fine didn't come between them and they continued the tradition Heath's senior year at PC and his first year in law school in Columbia, possibly because he's one of the few people more devoted to South Carolina football than Heath. Rob currently lives in Columbia with his girlfriend Margaret Hall and they get together with Heath and Sam regularly for Friday nights at Moc2Zuma for dinners and margaritas, not to mention most Braves and Carolina games.
Jacqueline Donner

Jacqueline and Sam met their first year of law school where they became great friends! Sam thinks she could not have survived law school without Jacqueline’s friendship. During Law School, when not studying, Jacqueline and Sam spent most of their nights at their favorite bar Jake’s, or eating their favorite quesadillas and margaritas. Sam and Jacqueline now live states away but keep in contact with the best memes and phone calls!! They got engaged within the same month and are both getting married this summer! Planning weddings together has been so fun!
McGill Ellen

McGill "Mac" Ellen and Heath are not only cousins but have remained friends throughout their lives, growing up near each other in Columbia. They enjoyed playing back-yard football as kids and enjoy watching it and seeing each other at Carolina games as adults. Mac is now living in Charlotte, NC but still comes back to Columbia and catches up with Heath at every family gathering.

Sam has known Erin since freshman year of High School! Erin and Sam were best of friends during high school and spent most weekends laughing (while sometimes in a corn field). Even though Sam moved away from Coal City in 2011, Sam & Erin kept in close contact with frequent phone calls!
Chase Crowder

Heath and Chase have been friends since they were kids and were even neighbors throughout high school. Once they became neighbors they enjoyed fishing around the neighborhood almost every day and going on Boy Scout trips with their troop. Chase now lives in North Carolina with his wife Rebecca but Heath and Chase still get together often when he’s in town especially when there is time til take a trip up to Lake Murray.

Sam and Bridgette have known each other since they were in story hour. When Sam switched to Coal City School District for high school, Bridgette and Sam became best of friends! Bridgette and Sam spent most of their weekends in high school together. Although they are states apart, Bridgette & Sam stay in close contact & always meet for margs when they are in the same state!

Cole and Heath went to high-school together at Spring Valley but didn't know each other very well until Cole was at Carolina and Heath was at PC. Over the summer of 2015, when Cole finally turned 21, Heath and Cole were hanging out whenever they were in town together, especially after finding out that their lakehouses were only a hundred or so yards apart. They enjoy fishing together whenever they get the chance and the occasional Miller Lite and continue the tradition of tailgating and fishing whenever they get the chance.

Sam and Margaret met in 2018 through Heath & Rob, Margaret’s boyfriend! Sam and Margaret are dog moms to Sadie and Harper, the best of puppy friends! Sam and Margaret enjoy spending time getting dinner & drinks around Columbia and hosting dog-play dates for their pups!
David Charles Stanton

Heath and David became quick friends their freshman year at Presbyterian College where they lived down the hall from each other. After freshman year, they became roommates living across the hall from each other in their fraternity house where they enjoyed countless mostly unforgettable nights. Even though David is a Clemson fan, they continue to keep in touch when they can while David is deployed overseas with the US Army.
