FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony starts at 6pm with an option of a pre-ceremony drink before. We would suggest getting there at least 15 minutes early. The Uber/Lyft may not be able to pull directly up to the venue due to busy time of day.

Question

Can I Bring My Child?

Answer

Due to space constraints, we're not inviting little ones to the wedding (besides our immediate family). Plus, the adults can have some playtime! See below for a few child care options our friends use locally. The crawfish boil on Saturday is open to all adults and kiddos.

Question

Will there be food and a bar?

Answer

Absolutely! Buffet and Open Bar.

Question

Is there parking near the venue?

Answer

There is no parking right by the venue. There are paid lots in the area if you choose to drive. We suggest you Uber/ Lyft or carpool.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Your best bet is to use Uber or Lyft and/or walk as it is in the French Quarter. No transportation will be provided.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The venue has an outdoor courtyard where the ceremony will be. The second line will be outside in the streets of New Orleans. The reception will be a mix of indoor/outdoor with music being indoors.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Classy, yet comfortable. Cocktail/ Semi-formal Attire

Question

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Sure, if you want. May be easiest to visit the registry or have it sent to our house so you don't have to bring it with you. If you need our address, let us know.

Question

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

Should end around 10pm. Then, we will walk to the unofficial after-party (location TBD)

Question

I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in New Orleans?

Answer

Thanks for making it down for your own min-vacation. See the Things to Do section!
