FAQs

If you have any other questions than what we have listed here, please send an email to goinggonzo2025@gmail.com
Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to venue restrictions, we are unable to accommodate plus ones. If you have been provided a plus one, they will be directly addressed on your invite, or will be noted as "and Guest". We appreciate your understanding!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP through this website no later than February 15, 2025.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is onsite parking at the venue. If you park in the lower lot, there are staff available to bring you to the ceremony site.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Please keep in mind that Uber and Lyft are not available in Estes Park. We will have transportation to ensure you make it safely home from the venue, but you are responsible for making it to the venue. Feel free to leave your car overnight at Della Terra and retrieve it the next morning. Our shuttle will be able to drop you off at any main lodging site in Estes Park. The shuttle will not be able to drop you off at any Air BnBs. Please reach out if you have any specific lodging questions.

Question

Do you have hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are several lodging options in Estes Park. Rooms at Della Terra are limited, however, if you are able, we recommend staying in one of their suites or cabins. Please visit the Travel page to find information on where we have blocked rooms.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We plan on having the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will be held indoors.

Question

Will you be serving alcohol?

Answer

Yes! Please drink responsibly and remember that 2 drinks at sea level is equivalent to 1 drink at altitude. Please note that not all places in Colorado will accept vertical IDs, even if you’re 21! You can use a passport as a second form.

Question

How do I adjust to the higher altitude?

Answer

Estes Park is located at 7,522'. Please arrive early if possible to give your body time to adjust to the higher altitude. We recommend drinking 2-3x more water than you typically would. It is recommended to consume smaller meals that are high in carbs, and avoid too much salt intake. Your doctor can prescribe you Diamox, which is a prescription drug that prevents the unpleasant symptoms for many people.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal! Tuxes and gowns are welcome, but so are suits and cocktail dresses. Please no jeans.
