We're getting married!

We met on a christian dating site back in April of 2019. From there we talked until our first date on June first, when Matty finally worked up the courage to ask me out on a date :) We met at an Italian restaurant in Nashua. I remember being so nervous until the moment I saw him step out of his truck. I was relived that it was really him and I could tell as the date went on that he truly wanted to know me more. I had never felt so comfortable around anyone in my life. It was a feeling I never thought I'd feel, but I knew he was the one from that very moment. He had all the same feelings too. Three days later, he asked me to be his girlfriend and of course I said yes! ♡ 06.04.19

It was Christmas Eve when he popped the long awaited question. We drove to our favorite place to take pictures, Chocorua Lake in Tamworth NH. On the drive there we listened to some Christmas classics but there was one song that stood out more than the rest, Walking in a Winter Wonderland. We’ve always loved that song and I think it helped calm Matty’s nerves too :) When we pulled in to the parking lot it was too dark to take any pictures and I couldn’t help but wonder “what are we doing here then?” as he walked me to the edge of the frozen lakeshore. We hugged for quite a while in the cool crisp air before he got down on one knee and changed our love story ♡ 12.24.20
