Honestly, it's up to you! We're aiming for semi-formal as it's evening, but it’s not a tie required level. If it’s fun for you, twenties vibes would absolutely fit in.
Not being cheesy - but having you here is our gift, so do not feel obligated to give us anything. In case, we have provided the option to help fund our rad honeymoon in the event you would like to toss a bit our way - see the Registry tab.
The ceremony will start promptly at 530pm, please be seated by 515pm. If you arrive a little earlier that’s ok, you will get to wander around and look at all the exhibits inside the ceremony area or hang outside on the patio area. The rest of the museum will be restricted until cocktail hour and then reception. Yes you will get to see everything! And even play in a flight simulator or two!! If you are later than 520pm, please join the Cocktail hour as the ceremony will already be starting.
To compliment the museum, we’re going for “Old World Romance”, think twenties to 50s for all the vintage planes… with ‘Bridgerton meets Peaky Blinders’ subtly mixed in.
Sunday from 9AM-1130AM we plan to have a brunch buffet at the Sheraton (room TBD). This will be casual and no set time. Roll in ahead of your flight or travel plans to reconnect or meet new wedding friends from the night before. We don’t want anyone leaving hungry.
The venue has a massive parking lot that will easily accommodate more than everyone we've invited. If you're a fly-in traveler, you probably don't need to rent a car unless you're planning on Saturday touring. We will have shuttles back and forth to the main hotel before and after the wedding. We'll post times closer to the big day!
We have free to you shuttles doing loops between the Sheraton Hotel and the Museum all evening starting at 4:30 and going until the party is over at 10:30. It's roughly a whole mile away haha - so only a short ~12min drive.
If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, our caterer is fully able to prepare something for your needs. We’re planning for a Gluten Free / Vegan option. Just let us know in the RSVP or text us!!
We'd prefer no children due to the historic venue, but completely understand if you'd like them to attend with you. So, your preference!
There is a whole kid playroom and activities, such as scavenger hunts and airplane making to keep them occupied. We will not have an onsite child-minder, so if you bring littles you'll have to buddy up for the duration. We will also have kid's food options, which you should select when you RSVP. Please let us know of any allergies or dietary restrictions.
We're skipping a lot of stuff and smooshing the bridal shower, bachelor and bachelorette parties into one big shindig in late summer. Open to all, this will be a casual optional weekend to hang and adventure at a New England Summer camp. More details to come!
Please respond no later than April 01, 2024 so we have enough food to feed everyone!! We know life happens so if it's after that date, please just tell us as soon as you can, we'll try to fill the seat ;).
We've allocated for everyone over 21 to be able to bring a guest. But feel free to come stag - we'll sit you next to interesting characters to make friends.
