We met at a monthly women's event in Oakland called "Hey Girl Hey."  Gloria was at the bar with some friends when Vanessa walked into the venue. They both noticed each other. They danced, they exchanged numbers, and the rest is history.

9.07.19 How We Met

There were two surprise proposals-Super GAY we know!

Vanessa proposed first in one of our favorite cities-San Diego. FUN FACT-The surrounding area was filled with homeless people clapping and cheering for us. 

Gloria proposed to Vanessa in San Francisco overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. FUN FACT-Unlike San Diego's proposal the surrounding area here was filled with tourist that did not clap at all.
