We met on a OCMD trip (July, 2016) sharing a beach house with mutual friends. Glenn and Kim had no idea they would be meeting the person they would one day marry. The weekend was filled with a lot of fun moments but Glenn was mostly intrigued by Kim roaming Seacret’s waters trying to find a float to lie down on. Kim and Glenn frequently talked about how they both went to West Chester University and somehow never crossed paths despite having so many mutual friends and “gatherings”. The next year would be filled with random meetups and an interest in each other that would continue to develop before it became obvious to everyone (Glenn was too nervous to make the first move). As fate would have it the shore would bring the two together again. The two ran into each other again in Wildwood (May, 2017) and Glenn finally asked Kim out on a date.

The day started with what Kim thought was a “date day”. Glenn told Kim the two would go to a couple different wineries and finish the day with a nice dinner. However, at Penns Woods Winery Glenn would wait all of about 5 minutes to get down on his one knee and ask Kim the most important question he’s ever asked a person. Kim said yes and was shaking uncontrollably. The shaking continued to increase when they got to Chaddsford Winery where Glenn had orchestrated another surprise of friends and family waiting to celebrate the happy couple. Unfortunately for Kim the dinner was never actually part of the plan, but now she has the rest of her life to let Glenn know that she’s still waiting for dinner.
