Welkinweir Estate was established as a protected conservation easement in 1976 by the Green Valley Watershed Association. The 224-acre land is part of Hopewell Big Woods, the last contiguous forest left in southeastern PA protecting important wildlife habitat and portions of the Schuylkill River watershed. As nature lovers and conservation stewards, we thought of no better place to host our wedding. We hope you enjoy the beautiful landscape and respect the land we step foot on.
