It's interesting that we met during the worst job that we've both ever had. Glen started in November 2012 and Lisa started in January 2013. Despite the terrible job and experience, the best thing either of us could have wished for came out of it! Glen knew he had to leave in August that year as his Visa expired and Lisa had literally just moved to Toronto from Halifax. It was the last thing either of us planned or had on our minds. But when it's right, it's right. So after 2 years of long distance and many more years of travelling the world together, we made it official on March 1st 2018 in Stockholm. That was the day Glen asked the most important question so far in his life. After this it should come as no surprise that we'd have a destination wedding! It's funny to think that Glen had an 'expiry date' in 2013 as he was only on a 1 year Visa in Canada. Yet on April 2nd, 2020, 7 years since we first became an item, that 'expiry date' will be extended to FOREVER!
