We’re getting married!

Gladys and Kirstan met the modern way: by swiping right on facebook dating(swoon!) in 2021. Kirstan thought he was being corny my messaging “i’m sure GLAD we matched” lucky for him it made Gladys smile. As a Testament to facebook’s matching capabilities on their first date the connection was so strong they spent hours talking as if no one else existed, when they looked up they realized the restaurant had closed and the staff had cleaned up around them. The chairs were literally on top of the tables!

It was so easy with Kirstan. I never wondered if he was interested or when I’d hear from him. Ever. Not once. He has been my strength and stay.

Gladys has made life much brighter. In addition to being a beautiful sight to behold, she is always a wise listening ear, a best friend and a loving, caring soul.

In July of 2023 Kirstan got down on one knee in their home and asked Gladys to marry him. Overjoyed, Gladys said YES and Kirstan placed the ring on her finger. Our journey was not a typical one and some could argue it was a bit out of order. We took risks and put a lot of faith in each other, it's led us to decide on forever! We can't wait to celebrate with you at our wedding in May!
