We had both just moved to the city, Marissa to Charlestown and Tommy to Medford. Two of our roommates, and good friends, were going to Brunch with Tommy and asked a hungover Marissa to join. Although she had slightly dirty hair, and some apprehensions, when he pulled up in that white pick up truck there was no turning back! After mediocre bloody marys and lots of flirting, we both ended the day thanking our friends for introducing us to the love of our life! We proceeded to spend almost every sunday brunching and sipping bloody’s at Earls (the top 3 bloodys) until Tommy fled to the burbs and Marissa shortly after followed. For months Marissa begged and sent endless amounts of links to photos for a pup, Tommy gave in. Ottis, our brindle frenchie joined the Busta household. Flash forward after days, weeks, months and years of not so subtle hints the most magical night happened in the middle of a pandemic. On August 8th 2020, Marissa walked into one of their local spots thinking it was just another Date night and ended up nodding her head to an unasked question in front of their families and an entire restaraunt and they officially were engaged. Tommys original plan was to propose on their trip to Greece but due to COVID, his new plan allowed for both of their parents and siblings to be part of the best night. 8.8 you certainly were great!!!
