CHS is the closest and biggest airport, thus your best option to get to Folly Beach. Folly is about 20-30 minutes from downtown, depending on traffic.

There are plenty of airbnbs, vrbos and vacation rentals that can accommodate groups small and large. However, we do recommend booking sooner than later as October is becoming a much more popular month for weddings down in Charleston - and things will book up. There are also various hotels on the island - but we are not doing a room lock.
