I know most people find this to be taboo or frowned upon, but Dave and I met in the work place (even though he was totally against dating a co-worker.) Dave and I used to work together at Apex Life Sciences, my first job out of college. Naturally, me being my typical self, I was looking for a cute guy in the professional corporate world that would be my future husband. Sadly, to my luck, there were no potential suitors that I was interested in. One day, the Philly team came to train the new recruiters out of our NJ office, and that’s when I saw Dave and immediately thought to myself “OH he’s cute!!!” If you know Dave, he is the most indecisive person on this planet who overthinks EVERYTHING. So, I had to take matters into my own hands. Over the course of two years, I slowly inched my way into his heart. We talked at our team building events, flirted over Skype (more me, not him, LOL), and one thing led to another to Dave eventually asking me out on our first date. We have been inseparable since and even started a family with our dog Luna :)
