Things To Do

Check out a few of our favorite places while you are in town!

Benjamin Franklin Parkway

Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA

Walk up the parkway towards the Art Museum and admire the surroundings-- multiple museums and cultural institutions, parks, statues, and the flags from around the world!

Elfreth's Alley Museum

126 Elfreth's Alley, Philadelphia, PA 19106

Elfreth's Alley is the oldest residential street in America. Gianna, being a lover of history and Philadelphia, says this street is a must-see spot in Old City. The historical brick fronts and cobblestone street make it a picture perfect place! The houses date back to the 1600s - you can even tour one of them- and residents actually own them! Check out the hidden alley and garden along the street if you visit.

Boathouse Row

1 Boathouse Row, Philadelphia, PA 19130
, (215) 685-3936

Boathouse Row holds a special place in our hearts. Gianna saw Justin's first race along Kelly drive shortly after meeting his parents at Malta boathouse. A longtime rower, Justin spends nearly every morning on the river to get a workout in amongst the peacefulness. Take a walk or run along Kelly Drive and admire the beauty for yourself!

Independence Hall

520 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106
, (215) 965-2305

Make sure you visit one of the most monumental and influential spots in the city while you are in town, because the Declaration of Independence was signed here by the Founding Fathers in 1776 in the Assembly Room. Tours run daily!

Spasso Italian Grill

34 South Front Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106
, (215) 592-7661

A landmark restaurant for many of the Silvi family events, Spasso Italian Grill offers an award winning Italian food menu full of fresh pasta, meat, and seafood. Spasso is steps from Penn's Landing. Gianna's favorite dish is the Penne Spasso; Justin loves the Chicken Parm (it is one of the best in the city). Ask for Kaz or Sam as your waiter!

Love Sculpture

Philadelphia, PA 19104

Take a picture in front of the infamous LOVE sculpture in the city!

Moshulu

401 South Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19106
, (215) 923-2500

The Moshulu is one of the most famous restaurants and event spaces in in Philadelphia for many reasons. If you've never been on it, or seen it, it's a massive boat docked at Penn's Landing that has been restored, upgraded, and run by award winning owner Marty Grims and his Fearless Restaurants team. Your eyes can't miss it as you cross either the Ben Franklin or Walt Whitman brides into Philadelphia. Check out the various decks and large spaces on the vessel to see why it is the most unique place to dine and celebrate in the city!

Reading Terminal Market

51 North 12th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107
, (215) 922-2317

This market is home to some of the best restaurants and establishments in the city! Make sure you stop by Termini's for the chocolate covered bananas and cannolis, and visit DiNic's for the best roast pork sandwich you have ever had!

Old City Beer Garden

240 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106
, (267) 687-8653

OCBG is one of the best seasonal outdoor spots in Philadelphia! Grab your favorite people and head here for the perfect mix of fun and chill. There are games, picnic tables, and a solid menu. Justin has had many outings here with friends and says it never disappoints.

Philadelphia Museum Of Art steps

2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130
, (215) 763-8100

Run up the steps of the iconic Art Museum like Rocky did, and then take a picture with the Rocky statue after you've made it back down!

Geno's Steaks

1219 South 9th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147
, (215) 389-0659

The debate between Pat's or Geno's--regarding which restaurant establishment is home to the best Philly cheesesteak--isn't over yet. Stop by one of these two places and make your own decision!
