December 9, 2016: It was The Thompson Healthcare Christmas Party at Hemmingways in Seaside. I was there alone, and she had on this green dress. I thought she was totally out of my league. I had no shot at talking to her. So I didn't. October 28, 2017: It was Halloween at Jenks Club and I was dressed as a scary werewolf, not even sexy.. just spooky. I saw him. He was dressed as a banana, and something just clicked for me. When I told my friends about it, they said "Oh Austin, he has a girlfriend. Just forget it". So I did. February 10, 2018: I was a Massage Therapist working Thompson Healthcare's annual Spa day in Lacey. At this point, I wanted to interact more on the floor with patients and less in a quiet room for hours on end. I was popping back in and out of the acupuncture suite. As the day comes to an end, Ryan Howell (shoutout) came back in the acu suite, being so welcoming and friendly. After a few minutes of small talk he says "I have a great guy for you. He's not your normal type, but you guys would be great together." Intrigued, I naturally ask "who". But Ryan wouldn't tell me. He just said "you'll eventually find out, but sit tight for now." February 10, 2018: (5:34pm aka eventually) *austinmatthew17 sent you a DM* austinmatthew17: "Follow me on snap!" gianatucci: "Ok!" austinmatthew17: It's austinpeck25" gianatucci: "Done!" austinmatthew17: "Let's gooooo" July 7, 2018: after months of Austin reaching out and Giana being so fresh, they finally went on a date. Unknown date in August 2018: After more months of Giana being a brat, she took Austin to Island Heights to tell him to leave her alone. About a week later Giana called Austin because she knew that she just made the biggest mistake of her life. January 23, 2021: Two and a half years later, Austin brought Giana back to that pavilion and asked her to marry him! The rest is history, and they've been together ever since.
