They went their separate ways for college before both moving to Myrtle Beach for a few fun-filled years. Lindsey and Brittany met their freshman year of college when they found themselves living on the same hall of their dorm (shout out to Columbia Hall!) Jason (aka Corbett) was not only a fraternity brother of Michael's but also a roommate during their time at USC. Since college, life has taken them both in their own separate directions, but they manage to remain close despite the distance. Alex is another friend that Brittany can thank Columbia Hall for! Garrett is one of Michael's pledge brothers turned roommates from college. Brittany met Lauren through Alex! Lauren did not have the pleasure of attending the University of South Carolina (hehe) but visited us Gamecocks often and hosted us for many trips to Charleston to see her during college and after. Joel, like many of Michael's groomsmen, is a fraternity brother turned friend from USC. Brittany and Haley both studied graphic design in college, but truly bonded when they studied abroad for a Maymester in Germany. A few weeks traipsing around Europe and many Hefeweizens later they formed an unbreakable friendship. Michael met Scott when they worked together at The Avista Resort in Myrtle Beach. They were supposed to be working "security" but mostly just made each other laugh. Melissa was assigned as Brittany's "buddy" when Brittany started working at VCU. They worked together (and basically did everything together) until Melissa moved to Raleigh, NC in 2019. Brittany wasn't sure how she'd survive Melissa moving away, but has come to realize that no matter what, they will always remain best buds. Joey hails from the commonwealth of Kentucky. Along with Michael, he's a big Widespread Panic fan (but, to clarify, not a bigger fan than Michael himself). Brittany and Kristen both work at VCU as dietitians and after sitting at desks approximately 3 feet apart for over 5 years, have become more like family. Terry Nagel, known by friends and family as TJ, is Michael's former fraternity brother and an integral part in Michael and Brittany's relationship as his wife, Lindsey, is one of Brittany's best friends. Christina is another of Brittany's dietitian friends. However, while Brittany works with adults, Christina works with kids (which Brittany doesn't know the first thing about). Michael met Josh through mutual friends and they have been there for each other through a lot of good times and hardships. In fact, Josh is especially handy to have around on a bad day. Ziggy was born on October 30, 2018 and went home with Michael and Brittany on December 29th of that same year.
