Michael and Ashley met in April of 2013 while working at Adventureland Long Island, Michael was 18 years old and Ashley had just a few weeks left as a 16 year old. "Can I have chicken nuggets and fries with a side of cheese please?" Ashley pretty much ate that same meal during her shift at work everyday. Michael quickly replied "No, we don't have anymore..." Ashley's face sank with disappointment, "I'm just kidding, hang on." Always such a jokester, but I guess that was a pick up line because that was the beginning of something incredible. That May the two "officially" started dating and have been inseparable since that first moment, "exchanging numbers" within the next 24 hours. In the next year the two attended both Commack senior prom and MacArthur senior prom as a couple, sharing countless memories and adventures. In August of 2014 Ashley was leaving for college. The two would be 115 miles apart for the next four years, yet neither doubted their love for each other and dedication to this relationship. Four years, countless drives and over night trips, weekends home and mini vacations in the mountains Ashley graduated from New Paltz and moved back home. Both were proud of how far they had come knowing that the other person whole-heartedly supported their every move and every decision along the way. At this time the two talked about their dreams of the future, their "someday" home and future family. These plans were only dreams, wild ideas of what could and would be somewhere down the line. One wildly stormy day in June of 2019, just 6 years after the two first began this wild, loving relationship, Michael asked Ashley to marry him. She eagerly said YES and the two cannot wait to share every future step together as husband and wife with the endless love and support.
