We're getting married!

Like many these days, we found each other through the dating app, Bumble. We matched right as thing started shutting down and began texting everyday. Jeremy asked Jenna on a date, but since nothing was open and we weren't supposed to be around people, she agreed if it was in an open outside area. We met at Tanyard Creek Park, down the street from where Jenna lived at the time, and had a picnic and talked. Jeremy did end up meeting Hank, Jenna's dog, on the first date as well and since Hank liked Jeremy, it was a good indicator to Jenna that Jeremy might be someone special. Things went well from there and we started hanging out all the time (even though Jeremy lived OTP haha). A month later, we made it "official" and went to a restaurant on our first date not at home or a park.

We went to Chicago for the Fourth of July weekend and stayed in the River North area. Jeremy had never been to Chicago, so we hit all of the tourist attractions. After a few fun days filled with shopping, great food, and seeing the sites, we had reservations at Osteria Del Pastaio our last night in town. With a belly full of pasta and wine, we made our way to the Drake Hotel (site of Jenna's grandparent's wedding). From there, we wandered to the Oak Street Beach off of Lake Michigan. We picked up a couple of drinks from the Oak Street Beach bar and took a stroll down the beach, where Jeremy dropped to one knee and Jenna said "YES!".
