George's Story- We met like most people do nowadays, online, I was studying in Stillwater at OSU and decided I would make me a dating profile. I wasn’t really looking for a relationship perse, but if it happened, I figured it would happen. One day after work I got home and pulled up the app and saw a beautiful woman in a cute red dress on my phone and I swiped right, and we matched. I sent a message and we clicked. We talked for hours back and forth before we finally set a date at Stables in Guthrie. Our first date was great, we hung out in the speakeasy in the back of the restaurant and talked for hours, and I knew that this was a girl that I wanted to keep on seeing. Now, several dates and two years later I get to say “I do” and marry her. Kyla's Story - I was just about to finish one of my classes at OU and I wanted to go see a movie that weekend to celebrate, but all of my friends were busy. So I decided to make a dating profile to hopefully find someone to go to the movies with. This guy with a kind smile messages me and we hit it off texting. He asked me out, but then tried to back out claiming he was too busy with school. I insisted that we go out because I had started liking him at that point and wanted to see if I liked him in person before I got too invested. We went to Stables in Guthrie because it was halfway between Oklahoma City where I live and Stillwater where he lived. He showed up looking like a real life cowboy and we had a great time eating, talking and laughing. He walked me to my car and gave me a hug. My cheeks hurt from smiling when I got home and later than night he texted me saying that he really enjoyed the date we set up the next one and the rest was history.
