We met at Oldham County Middle School in 8th grade. A mutual friend of ours introduced us at her locker one day. Kaylyn was instantly captivated by George's British charm. After multi-hour long FaceTime calls, we became the best of friends. A couple months later, that turned into much more.

Being a huge Taylor Swift fan, I had to go see the Eras Tour performance in Nashville, TN. When a lightning storm rolled into the area, it was unclear if the show would go on. After waiting in the rain for hours huddled under a Nissan Stadium ramp, the show went on several hours later. Every show, Taylor sings her hit song "Love Story" (which is one of my all time favorites!). When Taylor sang the line "He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said...", I looked over and George was down on one knee holding the ring out towards me. I was absolutely shocked and surprised (if you saw the video you know what I mean). After the shock settled, I said yes and we were engaged! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Jeffersonville!
