What about COVID restrictions? How should I prepare?

Answer

The best thing you can do is get vaccinated for COVID-19. Vaccinated guests ages 12+ help us mitigate the spread of COVID-19 variants and keep us in compliance with Ohio's standards for social gatherings. We ask that all non-vaccinated guests over 12 follow our rules of engagement (we promise, we’re still fun!): – Please get a COVID-19 test no longer than 72 hours prior to arrival at our wedding. The result must indicate that you are COVID-19 negative prior to arrival. There are many free testing sites, please reach out if you need help finding one near you. –Please wear a mask and social distance out of respect for the health and safety all guests and service staff – Please refrain from hugs and handshakes. Yeah, this will be weird, but we can do it! – Please monitor yourself for 14 days after the wedding, and notify us immediately if you develop any symptoms

How do I RSVP to your wedding?

Answer

Visit the RSVP section of our website and enter your first and last name as shown on your addressed envelope. Make sure it's an exact match (e.g., Jennifer and not Jenny)! Once you've entered your name the RSVP tool will unlock the details for everyone else included in your household or party, including spouses/partners, children and other guests.

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes; if not, we would prefer if it were just you.

If your children are named as guests in your invitation, they are more than welcome to attend.

Semi-formal, please. Black tie and formal dresses are appreciated, as are sharp suits and cocktail dresses.

Please share any specifics on meal preferences and allergens in the notes field when you RSVP. We will make sure to pass this along to the amazing, hard-working catering staff!

Yes, adult beverages will be on tap. We'll be having an open bar, but tips for service staff are always appreciated.

Where will I park my car? Will I have to pay a meter?

Answer

Glad you asked! Parking is plentiful and 100% free at the Smith Brothers Hardware venue. No parking meter anxiety here. Guests attending Rehearsal Dinner/Welcome Party festivities will have the option to either valet park at Le Méridien or self-park at any parking garage or parking meter in the Short North area. We highly recommend using the the Joseph hourly self-park garage located at the intersection of North High & West Russell Streets.

Is there a shuttle available from the reception to my hotel?

Yes, we'll have our trolley shuttle running in 30 minute intervals to drive to downtown area hotels throughout the reception.

We're escaping the wintery gray blahs of Columbus to visit the Hawaiian islands of Maui and Oahu in December!
