Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Gennie Stringfellow and Kayle McLean
There is a host of great places to dine and visit in both Dallas and Fort Worth.

Dallas

Dallas, TX

Dallas has a diverse population which makes for a great food experience and endless places to visit. Please feel free to ask for recommendations.

Fort Worth

Fort Worth, TX

Looking for a fresh new Stetson or a new pair of shit kickers for your feet? Head to Fort Worth for the full cowboy experience, you can checkout the nations only twice daily Longhorn Cattle Drive at the Stockyards.

White Rock Coffee

5930 D Royal Lane, Dallas, TX 75230

Feel free to try any of the many White Rock Coffee locations in Dallas. Let me know if the coffee is any good, I can't remember- I was too busy trying to get to know my future bride apparently.

The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza

411 Elm Street, Dallas, TX 75202

For those who have mentioned wanting to see/explore the famous JFK assassination.

Meow Wolf Grapevine | The Real Unreal

3000 Grapevine Mills Parkway, Grapevine, TX 76051

Enter an artist enclave for this fun unique experience where you can immerse yourself into another world and choose to follow along with a Family story or explore on your own. Each Meowwolf location is unique with it's own story. Give yourself at least 2hrs to explore but at least you can have a drink while doing so.

National Videogame Museum

8004 Dallas Parkway, Frisco, TX 75034

This is a little bit of a hike from where we are staying but we went recently and if you grew up in the late 80's- early 2000's having pizza and sleepovers with your buds after visiting Blockbuster video then this may be for you. The best part is everyone gets some tokens at the end to play some old school arcade games with the best of the 80's being the only thing played on the stereo.

Mandalay Canal Walk at Las Colinas

215 Mandalay Canal, Irving, TX 75039

The hotel and Venue are located in the center or the Mandalay Canals, a half a mile down from the convention center district with multiple restaurants in walking distance, great for visitors to browse and get the lay of the land.
