We love your kids - we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night or weekend off! We kindly ask that you leave your little ones at home unless they are specifically included on the wedding invite. If you plan on making a vacation out of the wedding weekend, your kids are more than welcome at the other weekend festivities, but please plan to make arrangements for the night of the wedding festivities.
Please note that transportation will NOT be provided to and from the ceremony/reception given that the majority of our guests will be staying in different locations. If your accommodation arrangements are not within walking distance of the ceremony location, we suggest taking advantage of either Uber or the local friendly golf cart shuttle service called "Get a Goober". This shuttle service is similar to Uber where you can schedule a pickup in advance or request it in real time but we HIGHLY suggest booking in advance and giving yourself plenty of travel time as this is a very busy time of year in the area. You can find more information here: getagoober.com PARKING: If you plan to drive to the ceremony, parking is available onsite directly outside the Lake House. Guests are welcome to keep their cars parked there overnight should you need to.
Seaside/Seagrove Beach, FL is the closest neighborhood to the wedding venue. The best place to search for vacation rentals is on VRBO or Airbnb. If you're planning to drive, there is parking available on the north side of 30A between the main WaterColor resort building and Bud and Alley's. Turn north onto Western Lake Drive and then take an immediate right into the parking lot. There should be a good amount of parking available and is within walking distance of where the bonfire will be set up. If you're planning to Uber/Goober to the bonfire, we recommend requesting/scheduling transportation ahead of time as Ubers can be limited in the area that time of year.
