Travel Details & Important Information

Guests will fly into Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City, which is approximately 115 miles north of Placencia, where Sirenian Bay is located. You then have the option to travel to Placencia by air or ground. We do not recommend renting a car and driving yourself unless you are familiar with driving in foreign countries. The road conditions and navigational signs are not what most travelers are accustomed to! For those who choose to stay at Sirenian Bay: Flights from Belize City to Placencia, airport transportation, and shuttles can be booked through the resort concierge. Do not book accommodations online. If you search or book online, you will not receive the special rate. Please call Tobie to inquire about reservations. Sirenian Bay Resort & Villas

Sirenian Bay is a boutique, beachfront resort located on the golden sands of the Placencia Peninsula in Southern Belize. We have held all available bungalows and villas at Sirenian Bay for the week of the wedding. They will be on hold until September 15th, so please make sure to book through the concierge, Tobie, before then. You can choose from all-inclusive and room-only rates. All-inclusive rates provide: Breakfast, Lunch, Happy Hour, and Dinner at various resort restaurants or room service. All-inclusive beverage options are also available.

We have set up a Wedding hotel booking page for our guests with specially negotiated group rates. These rates are special group rates that are typically very large discounts that are not available to the general public. Please visit the link below to view and book these options. Flight

Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE)

The PGIA is Belize’s only international airport located 10 miles from Belize City in Ladyville, Belize District. Once you land at PGIA, you can either take a small flight or shuttle to Placencia.

Tropic Air Commuter Flight

This is a 25-minute commuter flight on a 14-seat plane with Tropic Air. Flights can be booked individually or through the Sirenian Bay Concierge. $235 USD/person round trip IMPORTANT: The last flight of the day is 5 pm, so please plan your arrival to Belize City accordingly.

Rental Car

Chartered Bus from Belize City to Placencia

Sirenian Bay also offers a chartered bus from Belize City to Placencia. This is a 4-hour drive on a chartered bus with captain’s seats and restrooms onboard. The chartered bus can be booked through the resort concierge. $50 USD/person round trip (minimum participation requirements apply)
