Question

Are children invited?

Answer

As we are blessed to have many wonderful people in our lives, to best accommodate as many guests as possible, we respectfully request that only children of the grooms' immediate family be present at the reception.

Question

Is this your first LGBTQ+ wedding?

Answer

Awesome, we’re glad you’re here to celebrate our big day with us! We are getting married according to local and state regulations, with all of our loved ones there to celebrate with us. The hosts of this wedding trust that you are here to celebrate their wedding and want you to be a part of their special day. Just because it is an LGBTQ wedding does not mean it is any different from any other wedding. Phrases such as "thanks for inviting me to your party," "this is like other weddings," "you guys are like any other couple," etc. should be avoided. Be prepared to see some non-traditional parts of the wedding, for example, two dad-daughter/mother-son dances. You should let the couple know that you adore and respect them for who they are. For reference, it is generally easiest to use the couple's first names or refer to them as a couple, you/these/those two, or this pair. The couple invited you to be part of their day because they believed you support their union in marriage. If you don’t want to go, you can politely decline the invitation. However, don’t use your RSVP to state your reasons for not attending.

Question

Is the venue ADA accessible?

Answer

Yes, the venue has multiple ADA ramps to enter and exit the building. There is also an elevator in the venue if needed.

Question

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

Vegetarian and vegan options will be available. Please indicate any other dietary restrictions on the RSVP so that we can try to accommodate them.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation. The invitation will be addressed to everyone who is invited to the reception. If there are any questions, please feel free to reach out.

Question

Could you suggest places to eat, drink and see while I am in town for your wedding?

Answer

Absolutely. We love to eat local, and we suggest checking out Babylon Village or Bay Shore for dining or drinks. If you're looking for activities while you are in town, we recommend exploring the outdoor options in the area such as beaches, parks, and trails. If you have a specific activity, atmosphere, or type of food in mind, please text us. It would be our pleasure to help you find what you are looking for.
