Whereas Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) is the easiest airport, Idaho Falls Regional Airport (IDA) offers more affordable options and is a two-hour drive to Jackson Hole. Salt Lake City (SLC) is also a great option, with a scenic five-hour drive to Jackson Hole.
Jackson Hole does have Uber and Lyft, however, they are not as reliable as they are in a large city. We recommend renting a car or utilizing a local black car service. We have provided a few options in the Travel section of our website.
Jackson Hole offers accommodations for all budgets, group sizes and duration of stay, with the three largest areas being Town of Jackson, Teton Village and Wilson. The wedding reception will be located at Teton Pines Country Club in Wilson, should you be interested in staying close to the venue. Refer to the 'Travel' page for recommendations.
The average temperatures range from a high of 66°F and a low of 39°F. Many classify this weather as moderately chilly with a gentle breeze.
To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children on the evening of our wedding celebration. Should you decide to make Jackson Hole a vacation, we are happy to recommend Jackson Hole Babysitting to assist with childcare.
The south entrance to Yellowstone National Park is approximately 2 hours from Jackson Hole. If you plan to visit while you are here, we recommend planning an entire day to explore the lower loop of Yellowstone where you can see Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic, The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and more!
We're biased, as our favorite hike is Sacred Rim in Pinedale, Wyoming where we got engaged! However, that hike is 2 hours away, so our runner up would have to be Cascade Canyon in Grand Teton National Park.
