Question

Q. When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 15, 2023.

Question

Q. What is the best way to RSVP?

Answer

The easiest way for us is for you to use our website, either by scanning the code that will be on your invitation, or under “RSVP” on the navigation bar. You can also call/text/tell us in person. However, the website tracks the RSVPs and guest count for us, so we don’t have to enter it manually!

Question

Q. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the ceremony 15 minutes prior to the start time of 3PM.

Question

Q. What is the dress code?

Answer

“Dressy-casual” – We want our family & friends to be comfortable! For men, this might look like nice pants and a button up or polo shirt. For women, a comfortable dress may be best! However, the venue has grass & uneven ground, so comfortable footwear and heels that won’t dig into the grass are a good idea!

Question

Q. Is the wedding kid-friendly?

Answer

Yes! You are welcome to bring your kids. We just ask that you do not bring your kid’s friends, and let us know when you RSVP how many members in your family total, will be in attendance. We will still need a count of the kids attending for our caterer.

Question

Q. Are there places to stay overnight nearby?

Answer

Due to the rural location of the event there are limited accommodations near the venue. We will however, recommend two hotels in White River Junction. See the accommodations tab for these options. A shuttle will be provided to bring guests from the two hotels to our ceremony, and back again to the hotels after the reception. The shuttle will be picking up guests around 2PM on the wedding day.

Question

Q. What transportation will be available to and from the wedding?

Answer

We love our rural location– it feels like home! However, this provides some challenges as far as transportation. We will have a shuttle from and back to the hotels listed in our accommodations tab. However, we anticipate many of our friends & family having to drive, so please have a plan for a designated driver. This may mean that you would need to be dropped off or carpool with family & friends to and from the event.

Question

Q. Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available at the event. Yet, if you are able to carpool with friends or family this is a great idea! ** The parking area is large, and if you have any issues walking a far distance from your car to the ceremony, please let us know and we will reserve you a spot by the entrance where you can park.

Question

Q. Do you have a wedding registry? Should we bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

We have our wedding registry information linked in the navigation bar of this website. Your presence is enough for us! But, should you choose to bring a gift or card, there will be a table at the wedding for you to do so.

Question

Q. What type of food/drinks will be served?

Answer

We will have a stationary area of appetizers for the cocktail hour. For dinner, we will be having a buffet style meal with chicken & seasonal, hearty sides. The specific menu will be available the day of. ** If you are a vegetarian or vegan, or have another dietary concern, please let us know. I have some guests with these restrictions and plan to have appropriate meals for them, but need notice to plan.

Question

Q. Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We are planning to meet with our bartender to discuss our best options. Our tentative plan is to offer a portion, if not all of the drinks for the night as complimentary. It is still a nice idea to bring cash if you feel like leaving additional tips for the bartender!

Question

Q. What events will happen indoors versus outdoors?

Answer

Ideally, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, and the reception will be in the barn. We plan to have some outdoor activities so people can enjoy both spaces throughout the event.

Question

Q. What will the wedding timeline look like?

Answer

Our wedding timeline is still in the works. We do know that our ceremony will start at 3PM.
