We’re getting hitched!

~Our Story~ Hi, everyone! We would like to share our story so that you can learn a little bit more about us and our relationship. We’ve known each other for many years—since high school! However, we did not know each other all that well until a few years ago. We share a lot of common interests, including baking, cooking, hiking, shopping, and eating sweets. We both have a crazy sweet tooth! We can’t go through a day without eating sweets! Our recent favorites are mochi cupcakes and burnt cheesecake. We also like to walk or cruise around the neighborhood when we have some spare time on weekends. There’s never a dull moment when we are together. ~The Proposal~ We were on a day hike for my (Joyce’s) birthday. During our hike, we took in the stunning alpine scenery, the emerald green lake, and countless wildflowers. After over four hours of dauntingly long hike, we finally arrived at the summit. We sat on a rock to rest and enjoyed our lunch. After lunch, Gary saw a photographer who was taking pictures. He thought that the photographer could help us capture the moment, and he saw this as a good opportunity to take. As we walked along the side of the stunning glacier, Gary suddenly got down on one knee! Of course, I said, “Heck yes!” The photographer then came over to congratulate us. However, when we asked for the photo, the photographer told us that she didn’t know how to send the photo through email or any other methods. All we got was just a blurry photo that we took from the camera screen (lol)! Nevertheless, it was a memorable moment that would never be forgotten.
