This is our home in the city. Get to the Strip District early on a Saturday or Sunday to shop local vendors and check out the Strip's abundance of gourmet grocery stores such as Penn Mac, Stamooli Brothers, and Wholey's Fish Market. You may even get to hear live music from local street artists.

We dined at Morcilla the evening of our engagement. Owned by James Beard award-nominated chef Justin Severino, Morcilla brings Spanish cuisine to Lawrenceville. Lawrenceville is a neighborhood known for its artsy shops, hipster vibe, and bustling nightlife.

You can't leave the burgh without getting the world-famous sandwich piled high with french fries from Primanti's. The Primanti Bros. in the Strip District is the original location and is open 24 hours.

Il Tetto is Sienna Mercato's rooftop beer garden. Go here for a fun cocktail or tasty glass of wine. It has a retractable glass roof that allows this rooftop bar to be open any time of year - rain or shine. Il Tetto is in walking distance of the Omni.

If you love whiskey, check out the locally distilled and award-winning Wigle Whiskey. Their tasting room is conveniently located inside the Omni William Penn, but you can also schedule a tour at their main distillery in the Strip District.
