Things To Do in Charlotte
Carowinds
Carowinds - Carowinds is a 407-acre amusement park located adjacent to Interstate 77 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The park straddles the North Carolina-South Carolina state line, with a portion of the park located in Fort Mill, South Carolina. It also has a water park and many places for littles to have fun as well.
Whitewater Center
White Water Center - Whitewater kayaking & rafting, plus rope climbing & mountain biking, at a recreation center. There is a parking fee but no admission fee. They have a tavern and live music Thurs- Sat. We go here often in the summer time to drink, listen to music and lounge!
Lake Norman State Park
Lake Norman or Lake Wylie - They both offer boat and jet-ski rentals. Highly recommend if you're looking for a complete day out on the water. We love the lake!
Charlotte center city
Uptown has rooftop bars/ hookah lounges/ Mint Museum/ Discovery Place (Kids museum)/ NASCAR Museum/ Loads and loads of restaurants and parks!
Charlotte Motor Speedway
The boys and Gary love to go to the Speedway for races. It's a wild experience and def recommend if that's something you are into.
Cloud Bar by David Burke
For our younger crowd - this is the bar Gary and I frequent on weekends!
Middle C Jazz
This is the Jazz spot you see us out at often! It is grown and sexy and a bit ducked off. They have great food and drinks! The musicians differ from night to night but we always enjoy ourselves when we go.
Concord Mills
This is the mall we frequent. They have a little of everything and there are MANY restaurants in this area.
