Javier convinced Vanessa to “grab a beer” with Cristian and Sierra after work on a Wednesday. Little did she know that she was signing in Cristian, Sierra, and Joanna so that they too could be there for the proposal! Side note: Javier had figured out how to get everyone else (his parents, her parents, Diana and Nando) in to Disney. He went over the plan about making sure they all met at the carousel by 7pm. Vanessa and Javier met up with Cristian, Sierra, and Joanna at Lamplight Lounge in California Adventures. They ate, drank a little, then went to draw at the Animation Studio. From there, they walked over to Disneyland where Javier suggested they ride the carousel. Vanessa questioned why Javier would want to ride that since he was not a fan but he convinced her by saying that they should look for the horse that Walt has in the Royal 21 suite. They got in line, sat in the only stationary seating on the carousel and as the ride came to an end, he turned and said “I know this is long overdue but” *pulled out ring box from his pocket, got down on one knee, opened box to showcase the most perfect ring she could imagine* And she said yes.
