COVID has obviously impacted how our weekend will go.  We plan to go on a group hike on Sunday morning, as we feel this will be a fun way to gather while being as safe as possible.  Boulder in the early fall is usually a blast, with many shops, restaurants, bars, buskers, etc. along Pearl Street...although we're not sure how it'll be this year.  This is also peak leaf-changing season in the high country, so renting a car and driving up into the mountains would be spectacular.
