We had chosen Oregon as our latest little adventure, with dreams of running along Cannon Beach and gazing at Haystack Rock. Oregon was beautiful with its dreary charm and cozy appeal. We stayed at a quaint little cottage and would often walk to the beach. On the fifth of May, we made our way to Ecola State Park. After a tedious hike, we stumbled upon a cliffside overlooking where the forest gave way to the ocean. He then dropped to one knee and asked to spend our lives together. It was the easiest yes I had ever said. We spent the rest of our trip enjoying seafood and savoring the sea air.
