At Last!

It all began in Lafayette. Lindsay was a sophomore at UL and had just made the switch to a new apartment complex on the other side of town. Klay was beginning his first year at the university and was conveneintely moving into the same complex. Only fate would allow them to actually become next door neighbors.. The first semester living next door to each other was fun. Lindsay frequently visited to play with the kitten that Klay's roommate had. Lindsay would also make cookies for the boys or join them for football games and get-togethers. Klay and Lindsay spent many days at the apartment pool and even took a bowling class together and earned college credit for it. By June 2012, they made their relationship official. They dated for the next three years and graduated together from UL in May of 2015. But, it was the following 2 1/2 years that would really test their love for one another. After graduation, Lindsay moved to Texas to start graduate school and her internship program. Meanwhile, Klay was starting his career in Atlanta, Georgia, where he spent the next six months. In December 2017, Lindsay graduated from her program in Texas and finally made the move to reunite with Klay in Baton Rouge where they both live happily with their two cats Simba and Spooky.
